Overview
Belvaphilips is a premium product photography studio serving brands in fashion, beauty, FMCG, and tech. The goal was to build a responsive website that not only showcases their work but enables clients to easily book a product shoot — from anywhere on the site.
I led the UI/UX design for this project, from research to responsive prototypes, collaborating closely with developers throughout.

The Challenge
1. Simplifying the booking flow for users who are not always tech-savvy or detail-oriented.
2. Enabling users to start a booking from any page, whether they’re viewing the homepage, portfolio, or services.
3. Balancing visual storytelling (highlighting Belva’s creative work) with functional UX.

My Approach
1. Flow & Service Mapping
I first dissected their existing offline booking process and mapped out the core services offered. This gave clarity on what steps needed to be digitalized and which could be trimmed or grouped.

2. Competitor Research
I studied top photography and studio booking platforms to understand how others handle conversion flows, identifying complexity points and inspiration for simplification.

3. Progressive Booking Entry
Designed a booking system that can be initiated from multiple touchpoints across the site, with a step-by-step flow that includes:
- Product type selection
- Shoot type
- Finish level (Basic → Premium)
- Brief entry
- Delivery speed
- Final checkout

4. Flexible Style Matching
Introduced a unique feature that allows users to select a portfolio image they like and book a shoot in that same style. This reduced friction and created a more visual, intuitive experience.
